6 years ago I was here as a high schooler living with a host family I hold so close to my heart in Cologne, Germany. Wishing I could see the whole family I at least got to spend the night with my sister!

We had a lovely night together going out to dinner, catching up, having beer, and dancing.

Don’t not travel to see the ones you love! It will be worth it I promise.

The next day we went to Dachu concentration camp. It was very cold in January, but very worth it. We read books, and see movies, but until you walk where they walked and were killed, it’s not the same feeling. It was way bigger than I thought and it’s a small one. If old enough to understand and have time, I suggest going. Great information in the museum section of the tour.

We then went and saw the castle 🏰 that the Disney castle was designed after! In the snowy area of bulgaria we hiked up a hill and it was very beautiful. The bridge was closed to see the whole thing. We took the tour of the inside. This castle isn’t finished because the king doesn’t of an unexpected death and he ran out of money so the castle is only half finished.what is finished is just marvelous.
