Waking up early again. We booked fast track tickets through Tiquets. Really good company for fast tickets to see the collisum and Roman Forum. We spent an hour at each. We took a taxi from our hostel to save time.

We then had a quick lunch near the Roman Forum and got a taxi to the Vatican. Due to the fact that we never found it the day before. We didn’t know but, January 6th is a holiday in Europe. So it was very crowded at the vatican. We did not have fast track tickets so we were very lost walking around. The security guards finally took pity on us and gave us a map, and we found the Sistine Chapel!! We then wanted to see St. Peters’s Basilica( not knowing we had walked passed it twice already ) we headed that way and it was very very crowded and the line was 100 of people long, we saw it on Friday when it was empty and got good pictures then though, even though had no clue what we were taking pictures of.
picture below is on Friday

We then heaced home and there was a beautiful sunset by our hostel ar Orsa Maggiore. Freezing from walking 12 miles all day we opted to stay in and eat at the resturaunt by our hostel. It was very nice, homemade appetizers and good wine.

Tips for Rome
